Lapwai Days 2011

“A Centennial Celebration”

In an effort to revive a greater sense of community, the City of Lapwai, Nez Perce Tribe, Lapwai School District, and community members have joined together to re-establish an annual event that celebrates our community, history and culture. With its long history and rich culture our community is in a position to establish and create an event to remember and be celebrated for years to come.

This year, the event coincides with the City of Lapwai celebrating 100 years, activities planned include: Nez Perce Film Festival, Heritage Parade, Concerts, Community Dinner, Community Yard Sale, Art Show/Market, History Wall, Bounce Carnival, 3-on-3 Tournament, Horseshoe Tournament, Family Fun Run/Walk, Rez Olympics, Dunk Tank, Church in the Park, and Friendship Powwow.
