A date of May 13-15, 2011 has been set for the 4th Grade (Bring Your “A” Game”) 4th Grade Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament at the Pi Nee Waus in Lapwai. We may be the host team so be ready to help out.

Entry fee: $125 before May 6th ($150 after May 6th)

Four Games Guaranteed!

Prizes in both divisions include 1st Medals & T-shirts, MVP T-shirts, Sportsmanship T-shirts
Free throw contest winners receive an indoor basketball.

Where: Pi-nee-waus Gym in Lapwai

Division: Youth – Boy’s and Girl’s Basketball (18U, 14U, and 12U Co-Ed)

Entry Fee: 18U-$225.  14U-$150.  12U-$125

Deadline: April 20, 2012

Awards: 18U- 1st Place Jackets, 2nd Place Sweatshirts, 3rd Place T-Shirts. 14U- 1st Place Hoodies, 2nd Place Long Sleeves, 3rd Place T-shirts.

Comments: Must show proof of age. Double Elimination Tournament (except for championship game). Saturday Night “Player’s Feast”.

Lapwai’s 1st Annual “Spring Jam” Iron 5 Co-Ed Basketball Tournament

High School Co-ed Quick Draw

Quick Draw means players will sign up….at the close of sign up, teams will be drawn per category as per sign up….once teams are drawn, teams will then be drawn and scheduled on a bracket….Teams will consist of 5 players per team. Come and Have some Fun during Spring Break. Other activities will be announced!

When: March 29-31, 2011 (Lapwai’s Spring Break)

Registration will be Monday, March 28, 2011, at 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. @ Pi Nee Waus Lobby

It’s All About Our Kids & Our Community!

The 24th Annual Lewis-Clark State College Native American Awareness Week will be held March 7-11.
Each Spring Term, LCSC hosts Native American Awareness Week which is designed for the general public and LCSC students, faculty, and staff. During NAAW, a variety of speakers address subjects such as tribal sovereignty, health issues, and Indian education. The week ends with a Pow Wow.
